LifeSign is featuring its StatusFirst® CHF NT-proBNP test, a rapid point of care assay and the DXpress Reader. The StatusFirst® CHF NT-proBNP test is a quantitative immunoassay that measures N-terminal pro-Brain natriuretic peptide in plasma. After dispensing 3 drops of sample into a StatusFirst® CHF device, the results can be read in the DXpress™ reader in 15 minutes.

The StatusFirst® CHF measuring range is 20 to 5000 pg/mL with an analytical sensitivity of 20 pg/mL. The DXpress™ Reader is capable of analyzing a variety of StatusFirst tests. It is easy to use, stores and manages up to 1,000 patient and QC results, has an on-board printer, a RS-232 port for LIS connectivity and it is lightweight for portability.
